Jens grew up in the Ruhrgebiet and lives in Hamburg. With 7 years he became part of the boyscouts and he liked it a lot - he still does. There he learned and kept the passion, love, responsibility and smile for humans, outdoors, adventures and story-telling. And he kept it through his study of photography in Bielefeld and through traveling and assisting around the world.
Here he added the admiration for simple and nice design, architecture and art as seen at Bauhaus, Frank L. Wright or Stephen Shore. Being on location from sunrise to sunset - with cars and/or people, in the mountains, in the city or countryside with snow, rain, sun, challenged to find locations and remarkable pictures is one of best things, that Jens can imagine.
